Default The acceptable face of donkbetting - J9s - BB

Ok, not a traditional donk bet but,

who checkraises here and who leads.

6 handed 5/10

Loose(ish) passive limper in MP, button raises. I call in the BB with J9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and the limper calls.

3 to the flop J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet...horribly standard?

I would checkraise, get the LP limper out or make him call two, both are ok with you. betting isnt a bad play, but you will often make just as many bets if ahead (and button calls the flop) and you will let a player draw cheaply. the exception being if you know button will raise many worse hands and you can three bet. but that's a hell of a read and I prefer just palying this one straight.
