1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.33 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.16 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

River: (7.16 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 9.16 BB

the vilain is actually LPP. 42 vpip, 0.7 aggro. could i lay it down? this question is sort of a 'DUH' which happened to me several times today, so i'm double guessing.

No you played it right. Even .72s take shots sometimes. You have to call the turn and by the river I think the pot's too big to fold TPGK.

I think a call down is good here. He could be CR a lot of thinks that have you beat here. And a lot more you have many outs against.
