Default Getting my first Dell 2001FP

[ QUOTE ]
1) What will it take for me multi-table without overlap?

A monitor that supports 1600x1200 resolution or higher. The most popular LCD for poker is the Dell 2001FP, with Samsung 213T being second.

The only Dell widescreen LCD able to fit 4 tables without overlap is the Dell 2405FPW.

[/ QUOTE ]

I want to get a new moniter so I can 4 table with no overlap. Right now I have to join SNGs and sit in a particular seat at each one in order for me to see my cards at all times, kinda sucks.

I hear that the Dell 2001FP is a good choice. But in the above FAQ, it says I need a Dell 2405FPW to 4 table with no overlap?

That line has me confused, but I belive it only applies to Widescreen moniters, which I have no intention on buying.

If I purchase a Dell 2001FP will I be able to 4 table with no overlap?

Thanks for clearing up my confusion!!

Cheers

The Dell 2100FP is the "Bomb"...Don't waste any time/$$$ even thinking about anything else...Delivered from Dell for like $500 w/coupon....Don't just call & order....look around for "coupons"...ask someone (knowlegeable)..Plug & play = easy (even I could do it )

You may also consider a laptop like the dell inspiron 6000. I have one and I absolutly love it the resolution is 1900ishx 1200 ish. (i never was good at geek talk) and I 4 table without overlap.

BUT....

I'm thinking about 8 tableing anyone know what I should do here? I know I can buy a dell monitor and add it as a second monitor but do I need anything else (i.e. graphics card)?

Grab a docking station for your laptop and you can run two monitors. Probably the cheapest way to get there.

The 2001fp isn't a Widescreen - that's all it means. It fits 4 PP (and skins) tables easily, with space to spare. And yes, they are the bomb, I have two.

You payed $700 for a 2001fp? I saw a Samsung 213T on Ebay two days ago for under $600 w/ shipping from a powerseller.
