Not a good start for Bill James's bullpen theory today. James claims there's no sense putting in your ace when you have a 3 or more run lead in the 9th since you're going to win those games anyway. Why waste a valuable commodity?

Of course if Nomar turns the double-play like he should, the game's over.

Like a true Red Sox fan, I have now switched my allegiance to the Toronto Blue Jays. Red Sox suck.

BTW, Manny makes more per season than the entire Tampa Bay starting eight. Pedro will make more in four starts than Tampa's staters for the season. Talk about class differences.
