Default Gambling early - AQ call getting 1.6:1

For most ranges of hands, I figure I'm getting close to the money odds to call this, but can I still call? Basically, what do you guys think of gambling more in these situations, since having a big stack is more advantageous if you are better than the field. Thoughts?

Ehh... I don't like it, but it's close I think. Giving villain the range AA-99, AQ+, you're an 1.81:1 dog. Do you think you can widen his range at all, or is this reasonable? Disregarding chip EV, I think you could make this play if you had a bigger stack -- but you'll have 295 if you lose, and I think that's too low to consider making a play like this.

Ehh, I think I fold here, but it is close.

A limp, then a 4x BB raise then he pushes? His range has to be pretty high, I think.

I think you will see AK and QQ+ here often enough to make this a fold.

But it is close.

I dunno.

With this range, it's +chip EV to call. I think this is one of those situations where I'd pass up the +cEV since my stack will be so low if I lose. A stack of 1570 is nice, but I don't think it's worth the risk of being crippled. It's a fold for me I think.

the dude lost 200 chips before this hand because of something. he just wants to gamble, call.

edit: gambling means we can add worse hands to the mix, like ones you dominate. Ax suited, KQo/KQs.

I'd call, but I'm not sure I love the raise with AQo here, as you're only just in MP and it's 10-handed. I'd prefer just to call preflop in the first place. Two more seats along and later then I'd raise, though. Position position position.

first, this early this is a fold preflop for me. weak tight i know. if i do join the hand, its either a limp or a min raise.
if i did do a 4xs BB raise to open this pot, and get pushed at, i instafold. and its not even close.
folding you still have plenty of chips. even if youre up against something like 66, you dont throw away too much by folding. unless the guy is a real donkey, youre not up against Ax when x is less than Q.
fold preflop, limp or min raise, if reraised, fold.

honestly, i think is a pretty easy fold. I wager he has 99, and only an idiot would have AJ or lower. If he has a low pp, do you really have odds?
