Default Did I get enough out of this AA?

SB's numbers are 33%/2%/.88/22%/50% after 122 hands. I had one hand against him earlier in the session where I flopped a set, he made his flush on the turn, but only called my slightly less than 1/2 pot turn lead, and called my ~1/2 pot river that paired the board.

How's the turn check through? Should I have raised the river?

Thanks for any comments.

dont know why you would check the turn. he reraised before the flop.. unlikely he holds an eight or flopped a set and has now filled up. i dont think u have much to fear when the board pairs on the turn or the river. You should have bet the turn and gone from there. His river bet looks pretty weak and i dont think you would have gotten much more out of him unless he was holding a higher pair which seems unlikely from the beting that went on.

I think this was way underplayed. You've got him on 2% prf after a decent number of hands, and he reraised you preflop. He certainly has AA/KK/QQ (just possibly AK, but less likely after calling your flop bet).

Absolutely no reason not to bet this turn - it looks like he plans on calling down, and you have no reason to fear a check-raise. No reason not to raise his river bet. What are you afraid he might have??

I definitely agree he is holding JJ-AA withthe 2% PFR, so my question is why not push preflop after the reraise? I do it all the time with aces in higher limits against similiar players and it probably works 4 out of every 5 times, and more often than not I'm up against a dominated KK. Other than that, you have to bet all the way through here because he's calling you down with an inferior hand.

bet the turn, raise the river.

preflop call isn't too bad but there are lots of scary flops.

I think you might as well 3 bet to 7. hope to get it all in on the flop.

Good post amoeba. With this hand I am 3 betting a tight raiser without question. Get his money before he chickens out on the flop.

I'm newish to NL/PL so excuse me if this seems a stupid question but why just call his raise pre-flop?

I am probably over aggressive but my instinct would be to make a big re-raise there, to be honest I'd happily go all in if he re-raises again.

EDIT: I was grunching just saw that others already addressed my question.

A tight reraiser is more prone to lay it down preflop to a three-bet than chicken out on a harmless flop. He could easily get away from QQ or AK to a three-bet.

You are certain to be heads up, and you have position, and villain will very likely lead into you on the flop (er, OK, so he didn't here..). It think the preflop call was fine here.
