ATs
no read on villain as i've only been at the table for like 15 minutes. i haven't seen him do anything out of line, he just seems a bit loose pre-flop.
6-max(6-players).50 BB hero-UTG(49.30) villain-CO(69) dealt to hero A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hero opens for 1.75, CO calls, everyone else folds. flop(3.75)-K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hero leads for 3.25, villain min-raises to 6.5 , Hero calls?. ok so i don't know where to go here. i think 3-betting is best here, because i can't call a big bet if the flush doesn't come on the turn. play along with me. |

Re: ATs
I would definitely 3-bet here to about 20 or so.
The reason behind my move is just to send a message to everyone not to play back at my continuation bets since I do them frequently. Any chance I get to play back at a raiser I take. |

Re: ATs
If it's a passive table, I'm limping ATs UTG.
I'm betting less on the flop, calling the raise. |

Re: ATs
3 betting here sucks. I think check raising the turn all in is even better than 3 betting.

Re: ATs
the only thing that stopped me from a 3 bet was that if he calls and the turn is a brick i pretty much have to push or check/fold depending on pot odds. i called and the turn was an ace and i c/r'ed him all-in and i took the pot down uncontested.

Re: ATs
I agree with this - you can't three bet because it leaves you pot-comitted on the turn, with too little in your stack to have any fold equity on your push.
Just take your decent odds and call to see the turn. |
