Default delisted!

Lakes Entertainment/aka the WPT has been delisted by the SEC...

from the Wall Street Journal Online:

Lakes Entertainment Is Delisted
August 10, 2005; Page C2

Lakes Entertainment Inc. said the Nasdaq Stock Market will "delist" its stock this morning after a dispute with the Securities and Exchange Commission caused the company to miss deadlines for filing its latest reports.

Lakes, of Minneapolis, is majority owner of WPT Enterprises Inc., a Nasdaq company that runs TV poker competitions. The SEC is examining the accounting for loans made to Indian tribes to develop casinos that Lakes would manage.

The company plans to appeal Nasdaq's decision to drop its stock, but that won't delay the delisting. Once delisted, the stock will appear on the Pink Sheets.
