I like the first one - I think you've got lots of fold equity, and even if you're called you almost have sufficient odds if all your out are good.

Not so sure about the second one. BB's stop and go seems to show he has a hand, so your fold equity may not be so good. On the other hand, the 4 was a good card for increasing your fold equity... Still, better here to flat call, and try to stack BB when you hit?

Hand 1 - I think you have to bet more on the flop. You have a great draw, but you are probably behind at the moment. A PSR would make it $12.75 to go. I would probably make it $15 to go. One of the reasons for plays like this is you have FE, and you have to put them to the test with at least a pot sized raise. And then I would push the turn also.

Hand 2 - Don't like this one so much. The pot is so small in relationship to your all-in raise. There is a chance villian has a 5 here and is not laying this down. The flop raise is good, but after he leads on the turn I would just call. 5 or T come, you still have a chance to stack him if he has a 5. A diamond comes and you can still probably pull a nice chunk out of him on the river.

I think a PSR here is actually $15.75. I'm not sure I like such a large raise here - we get more FE on the flop, but on the turn, we don't have much FE since the pot is about the same size as our push. We are in a horrible spot now if we miss the turn card. We're better to push the flop if we're going to raise to 15 plus aren't we?

Also in hand 2, villain has a shorter stack, so the all-in is effectively only $50. The pot (counting hero's call of the turn $8 bet) is $30; hero is thus calling $8, and then raising $42 more into a $30 pot. The size of hero's all-in raise is not that dissimilar to hand 1 in terms of bet size. Still, BB's showing of strength is a good reason to flat call I think.
