How much change will you just dump into the tip jar?
I hate carrying change around, so I usually try to get rid of it.
I've found that anything less than 50 cents goes into the tip jar, no questions asked. If the girl serving my bagel is a bitch, if my food is covered in mold, if the restaurant smells like a bathroom... whatever, I don't want to carry it around. For some reason, though, if my change includes more than two quarters I'm more compelled to save it, or at least only give it as a tip if it's deserved. Why? I don't [censored] know. Inspiring comments welcomed.

Counter jockeys deserve exactly what they're making. A Starbucks near me has a tip jar on the shelf of the frickin' drive thru window. As if.

i save all my quarters to tip the dealers at the casinos when i win a pot of 100 dollars or more.

it's getting kind of silly. There must have been some study that told all the servers that a good % of the population will throw money at them if they just put a jar out...
