Default KK lost to A3o

Was slightly annoyed at this but as I was the short stack versus chip leader would it have been better to go all-in? I was thinking I could limp in the hope of getting more chips:

I just push with big pairs or bluffs, then people don't get a read on me, when below 10BB.

Yeah, limping kind of sucks. Unless the people at your table are maniacs who will constantly push but fold to raises (2+2ers) and aren't very observant (non 2+2ers), don't do this. Push preflop.

If you're hoping to get more chips out of your opponents, raise to 400 preflop. A push would be fine too, but you're obviously trying to get action here with KK
