Default Slow Play or push?

$10+1 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (3 handed) converter

Hero (t3230)
BB (t3530)
Button (t1240)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero completes, BB raises to t1200, Hero calls t800.

The BB has been very aggressive with a big stack and playing a lot of hands, probably about 75%. His raise means nothing other than he has 2 cards that he likes. He'll jump on any perceived weakness, such as my just completing the SB. In all likelyhood, I have the best hand.

Flop: (t2400) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero ????

I pickup 2 pair on a coordinated flop. I'm 90% certain that if I check, he'll push if the flop helped him at all. Even an overcard or a gutshot would probably be enough for him to push.

So, do I push and probably double up or do I check and call his probable push and probably end up with t6500?

Two things

"Big Blind is t400"

"Hero completes, BB raises to t1200, Hero calls t800" - I hate this.

I check/raise or check/call an all in.

Just push, don't get fancy. The pot is huge, take it now, he might call you anyway. I think that slow playing here is terrible.

In fact, without even reading your post, I was tempted to write "push" since slow playing is so often dreadful.

This board is coordinated with all kinds of draws. If he likes his draw, he might call you anyway.
