Default Donkbetting the flop instead of check-raising?

Better or worse as a general strategy?

*Half the price to bluff. Only needs to be successful half as often as c/r?

*Will get raised by many hands allowing you to 3-bet your good holding?

*Unconventional and so get's the opponent in to him unknown/uncomfortable situations?

You also offer your opponent much worse pot odds to peel a turn card.

For what it's worth, I bet out more than I check raise but not signifcantly more.

A c/r is a much stronger move, however. Unless your opponent recognizes it as a "standard" defense for a blind who may not have hit at all, he's gonna go in a shell pretty quickly.

With a donk, you're either encouraging a free card play or a call down that could put you in a sticky situation OOP on the river.
