This was a very weird SnG for $10 +$1. The whole table except for one player (CO in this case) was playing very tight. This was the button’s first PFR and the first hand with multiple limpers.

In hand one, calling allows you to play AQ OOP in a heavily raised pot. I certainly wouldn't pay to do that. Oh yeah, and there are 3 dudes still behind you on this round, what will they do? With AA/KK/AK you go, "I don't really care" and push/raise heavily. With AQ, you go "Ionno;" and fold.

In hand two, I really don't like raising preflop. It's still early, you're not under pressure. Limp, miss your set, fold. On this flop? Blech. I highly doubt he's got trip Ks, but I dunno if I wanna risk my entire stack on the suspicion that he has AQ for a measley 300 chips. Plus, any hand your ahead of has overcards. Eventually I convince myself that calling is +EV at the $11s. Usually you'll see AQ or AJ, or a lower PP. Unfortunately, you'll also see KA-KT, and higher pocket pairs. I hate being in this position which is why I'm still playing 99 meekly this early.

hand 1 is probably a smart fold. even though if you call the other limpers probably will too, theres too big a chance you'll go broke when your pair of aces gets outkicked by AK, or your pair of queens gets beat by KK or something. Unless you make a straight or top 2, you probably wont win a big pot here, but you could lose a very big one.

Hand 2... I hate hands like this, but I think you have to fold. you have enough chips to find a better spot, and even if he has a flush draw, his overcards are live too (which is basically a coinflip at this point)

You're out of position with a bunch of players yet to act behind you, plus a player in excellent position coming in for a raise. Could he have something like A/J suited? Sure, but if he doesn't, then you're at best coin-flipping and at worst dominated. Fold, push if you like to gambool. You can't call and I don't like a re-raise here either.

There are two diamonds on the flop. It IS plausible that your opponent does hold trip Kings, and has had a history of being drawn out on, thus his huge overbet of the pot. It is possible he has a smaller pocket pair or a pocket pair that is higher than yours, but this is less likely (since you raised, and a typical raising hand could contain a King, why would he push into an opponent who might hold trips? He likely has the King and is worried about the flush out)

And you aren't getting pot odds to call here, easy fold (all you can beat is a bluff)
