Default Solid Push?

Me (1200) 4 handed 150/75 blinds. Everybody about equal in stacks.

I push UTG with A5s?

borderline pushable IMO. better @ 'equal stacked' than into shortie/big stack, but the blinds aren't huge yet...i might just wait for better.

ps. throw in the ol' "read dependant" in there somewhere too

I'd tend to fold this, as any calling hand has you dominated (either a better ace or a pair in between A and 5)

Some folks might disagree (I dont have a calculator thingy to say if its a +EV push on a purely theoretical/mathematical basis), but I think you can find a better spot with everybody evenly stacked.

Also of note is that this is a better push on the button rather than UTG, as theres one less person to have a hand worth calling and beating you.

It is marginal, I wouldn't think twice about it if I had a7s/a8os but a5s is pretty weak and if you get called you are most likely pretty far behind unless it is some crazy bastard with kj/q or some rag pp.

I would push here automatically at 6-7xbb but 8-10xbb I would probably push here like 40% of the time at a tight table that didn't have players making really crazy calls.

I think the entire thing here isn't so much if a5s isn't a good enough hand to push UTG 4 handed but that you'll probably find a better spot later to accumulate chips that is more +EV.

stack too big to push this. it's marginally bad. a bigger kicker or a smaller stack and it'll be acceptable (but not superb)

Thanks guys, I may to be overly Aggressive. I'm really aggressive in the bubble time. I' push anything like JQo and K10o. I hardly ever get caught but when i do it sucks.

Earlier today at 11
-4 players left 100/50 blinds.
folded to me in small blind, I push with A9o and get autocalled by Aces. LAME, I think it was just bad timing?
