Default why the Taj is the next casino to fall after the Trop in AC

I think the title of this post may be a little too drastic, but I want to show you how disorganized the Taj has been in dealing with situations this past month.

Two weeks ago i came into the casino around 1am. I ask to be put on the list of 10-20. There are two tables of 10-20 going so I tell the floor manager that I want to sit at Table A which consists of 8 players and there are 3 open seats. He looks at me and says, No I have to put you here at Table B which was a table of 4 players playing 10-20. I look at him and say, why don't you make Table B a must move game into the main game. He looks at me with a look like..."pfffff.....whatever..." So I tell him that if he doesn't make TABLE B game a must move game, both the games will end up breaking up and then he'll have to start a list for 10-20. So after taking my advice he does so, but I know he doesn't like it that I showed him how to do his job by his reaction to my suggestion.

2nd thing. I'm playing in the game and I'm in seat 9, seat 8 is UTG and throws away his cards with a disgusted regard which touch seat 7's cards, the cards get mixed up...the dealer calls the floor, and after telling him the situation the floor mananger looks at ME and starts yelling at me, saying "the next time you do that, I'm throwing you out!!" I said to him, "it wasn't my cards that touched the other players cards"....and again he shouted at me saying "if that happens one more time, I'm throwing you out!!"
He just picked me out of the clear blue sky figuring I was the one who did this and by yelling at me he would remedy the problem.
The dealer doesn't defend me nor does seat 8 tell the floor that it was "he" who flung the cards, nor does anyone else at the table defend me. ( you see what happens when a tight agressive opponnent is in a game, the whole table wants him out.)

situation #3 This one takes the cake.
It's folded around to Seat 10 who raises, but the BB and UTG have a problem deciding which card belongs to whom, dealer calls the floor, The floor says just like this "MUCK IT....MUCK IT...."...everyone pitches in their cards and the Raiser takes the SB and BB money and adds it to his stack after the dealer gave him the pot. Pandemonium breaks......the whole table starts going nuts especially the Blinds who where loose players....

The players say..."but you said to muck it...we all threw our hands away."

The floor says....."no....no....I didn't say that I meant for UTG to muck his hand....."

My interpretation of it was, that he said to the entire table to muck their hands....and a new hand would be dealt.....and that is exactly how it sounded like...and most of the other players at the table had the same interpretation because we all thought it was a misdeal.

Now with the Borgota opening up in May, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I see many of the TAJ players going over there, of course there will still be games at the TAJ and there games will continue to be full and good, but remember if you don't take of the problem when it's small, then when it gets big it's going to take care of you. The floor has become very lax as of late and this is not a good thing for the future of the TAJ.

I don't dispute that the Taj floor is poor, but what makes you think that a bunch of super-floorpeople are going to suddenly appear at the Borgata? They're drawing from the same "talent" pool, for goodness sake.

I think at least two of your three tales are fouled up.

1) This two short game thing happens all the time. I don't see how they could make one a must move, since that's basically forcing the game to break and filling the three open seats in the main game. Generally, the short game breaks fairly quickly when it gets five handed, and the players then fill in the other game.

2) If your version of events is right, everyone was probably quiet b/c there's no hope reasoning with a crazy floorman. I saw one dealer get written up for arguing with the floor.

3) This story makes no sense, since UTG mucked way before seat 10 raised. In any event, the floor's decision that the fouled hand are dead is correct, so BB's hand is dead.

Default You think that the Trop will be going down this summer?

Care to elaborate? Are you saying that the player pool will be too thin to support 3 big rooms?

Or is that just a general comment on the quality of the Trop's room?

I want everyone to get the wrong impression of this post.

The Trop still does have a room and I think they will always continue to do so and there is no way the Taj is ever going down; what I mean is that ever since I started playing Poker at the Taj compared to how it is now, management(floor) has become very lax as of late. I think Mr. Trump should launch an internal operational audit of the TAJ Poker room and challenge some of the floor people's expertise and integrity. Sometimes the floor people just don't know what the hell is going on yet they make decisions on incomplete information.

The Taj is a piece of [censored]. They don't treat their players as valued customers. I have been yelled at and physically threatened by dealers for no reason whatsoever. The floor did nothing to stop this. Dealers mutter under their breath when they are not being tipped adequately. These same [censored] dealers still work there. [censored] em all. I truly hope they go under.
