Default Small pair facing all in from shortstacked UTG (Party $11)

I thought there was a good chance UTG was pushing a random hand here. Is that enough of a reason to get involved with a hand that is at best a coin flip?

The only reason I don't like this is because you're in 3rd right now. If the other short stack had 1200 or so and each of the big stacks had a bit less, I think this would be an easy call. If you think you can maneuver your way into the money after folding, then fold. I think you still have some time to make a move later.

I don't really like this either, to be honest. I'd want 88+ here, maybe even 99+

OP, I would be more inclined to call with this hand if I were the BB. One, there's no one left to act behind, and two, I've already got deadchips in the pot. This is a pretty easy fold for me. Regardless, even with 100 in the BB, I'd prolly still fold here. If I had 200 in the BB, I'd be more inclined to call.

Good luck at the tables.
