Now I checked the flop which was super-stupid, but I expected someone to bet because this is a $2 STT and lots of people bet, but this is early on so I don't know if I'll have a maniac betting table.

Because this is a $2 you probably shouldnt need to be so fancy. Just value bet this all the way to the river.

Value bet, make the biggest bet you think will be called. Seems like you picked the right amount.
