Default Question about Dan Harrington no limit books

Hello. First of all if I have this in the wrong forum, please move.

I was looking to improve my no limit poker game because well it stinks compared to my limit play (which is A league level right now). I have heard great things about Dan Harrington two books on no limit play and had a question. Are these books helpful for non tournamnet no limit play or just tournament play? Also is this book acceptable for beginner/mid level player or is more of an experienced book.

Thanks

Search from the Books/Publications forums. But yes, Vol. 1 applies to NL ring games.
