those tourneys are wild. I see that stuff all the time. the other day, I was in a hand that went:

L1. all around t1500.

5 limpers
Hero (QQ) in BB raises to t200. I get 4 calls (SB folded).

Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flop.

I check, one guy flat pushes, two people call. I call and hold up against Q8(the original pusher) and two flush draws. good times had by all.

I thought about it for a while, but I didn't believe the limpraise and thought I had the best hand. The pot was pretty big with the two cold callers and I thought third position was trying to represent a big hand to take the pot.

You had 150 invested, and have nearly 2k chips after folding. You don't need to get involved. Then you've got a guy that cold-calls that raise, and someone who limp-reraises big anyway.

Doesn't it seem like you overplayed your hand tremendously now?

I think that's a very bad push.

edit: btw if you just end your post at "Hero pushes" or whatever, then it becomes an actual hand question, not a low content post. And as I said, I think it's a bad push.

I think I had a pretty good read on the table and players and made the right play, but it was a borderline decision. Although I was multabling, I felt the limpraiser was a LAG and the cold callers were calling stations. At a higher buyin or tighter table I might have folded.

3rd position's play and mine may have been incorrect, but we played reasonably. Once there was a limpraise and a push on top of that, the calls by 76s and A2o are even more ridiculous.
