Default Dell 9300 Display Probs

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop with the highest end monitor (WUXGA+ I think), native resolution 1920x1200. For some reason out of the box it looks a bit different (icons, fonts a tad larger) than my friends. There is also a major problem in which the windows created by Party and Empire are too large, and there are dead parts of the window (i.e. the actual stuff only takes up like 80% of the window and there are borders which are totally messed up, inheriting parts of the desktop or other windows which had been over them). Anybody know what would cause this? It's not just Party and Empire, when I open Stars, the splash screen appears very messed up, but the client itself is fine. Thanks, Richard

P.S. Font size is set at normal.

Hey idiot, did you even _try_ to solve your problem before posting? It's very simple, just go to Display Properties-Settings-Advanced- and change the DPI resolution to 96 from 120. Restart, and bang you are in.
