Default $215s - Way Too Aggro HU?

Villain limp/folded a couple times on the bubble, but also limped KK in MP level 2. This is 4rd HU hand, I pushed one, he min raised one. I don't think he has an ace enough of the time to make this a good shove, but should I raise some amount less than a push? Or should I just let it go? In other news, the $215s are night and day vs. the $109s.

He doesn't have an ace. The big problem with pushing here is that the board is somewhat coordinated so he might interpret your push as you being on a draw and be more likely to call with something you don't want him to call with.

With 1000 chips in the pot, I don't mind pushing though. His flop bet shouldn't matter.

Yeah I know...
Also, how believable is it that I don't raise an ace all-in PF... I think he raises any PP though so I'm just hoping to move him off whatever two cards he has.

Bah, this line sucked and it reeks of desperation.
End of thread.

Don't be so negative. You have a strong draw to the nut runner runner straight.

I think there are metagame considerations here. You can't fold to him taking a stab at flops you miss all the time. Of course you could wait until the board is somewhat more favourable but doing it sooner rather than later has its benefits.

It's not that bad a move at all...depends how you feel. I definitely do this sometimes, theres no way you can write this off as bad with no read. They will fold a large % here.

Dont be so results oriented....

I like pushing here preflop alot of the time....but to switch it up what you did isn't necessarily a bad idea. From what I've heard a push pre-flop is what I'd go for.

Please explain, I'm very curious as to what's so different between the 109s and 215s.

Also, I like the push.

Let me get a larger sample and I'll post my thoughts. VIllain had AK here, not that it matters...

Looking forward to your review. The move I think is fine against someoen who has shown he can play like a pansy. Against aggressive/tricky players, I muck at the first opportunity when they limp unless I have seen them limp fold. (On a side note, no one really buys my suspicious bets in the 50's anymore, but that is fine because now my POB's work really well )
