Default broadband minimum requirements

i´m moving, and has to buy a new internet connection. What should I go for to be able to multitable without any problems? And does the upload-speed matter at all?

Kindest regards Bjarke - the noob...

Any broadband will be fine. DSL or Cable for instance. I haven't heard whether people are multi-tabling with dialup or not. Someone will chime in if that is an option.

I've been able to 4-table Empire and Partypoker on a 56k dialup connection while on vacation.

DSL often comes in 3 varieties with corresponding prices. The cheapest version *should* be fine.

I used to play 3 or 4 tables on a 28k modem. I am now using 256k dsl with no problems. Online poker really doesn't use a lot of bandwidth. Porn, OTOH takes a lot of bandwidthe, especially if it's streaming video.

Thanks for the answers. I'll settle for the cheapest broadband then.

Kindest regards Bjarke
