Default Terrible Bubble Play?

Eurobet $33 Sng

When he miniraised i figured he was weak and that he would fold to my all in reraise preflop. I had no reads. In hindsight i think that it would have been better to fold and then open push later on. Was this push a bad idea?

Default Re: Terrible Bubble Play?

With a shortstack on the bubble, and a bigger stack minraising my BB from the button, I'd love to get my chips in the middle with A9. It beats more than half the aces, and if he's like most villains, he'll probably raise any ace, as well as pairs (not so good for you) and KQ-K9, QJ, JT (good for you). I think you made the right play.

Not to mention that your stack is still sizeable enough to make him fold preflop with lots of stealing hands too, but after the blinds, it might not be. Nows a good time to stand up for your stack.
