Hero raises All in.

I cant figure if a smaller raise is Ok or a call is OK.

Obviously I dont want to be playing Jacks out of position, and I have a lot of fold equity here. Push seems like the best option.

Thoughts?

I really hate pushing or raising here. You have a nice stack, small blinds, and the other big stack makes a huge bet. I like folding, or maybe calling.

You really like pushing here with 40 bbs?

Im not 100% with it, hence the question.

I still believe the raise all in to be the best play here.

A fold here seems to weak tight against a hand you are likely beating. However your hand is vulnerable and you dont want to give his likely overcards the chance to hit.

Just calling with jacks out of position is suicide.

I can see the merit of folding them. but I believe a fold here (in the 55's) is too weak tight.

Thats why I beleieve a raise is correct. However to make the raise at all affective, it needs to be in the t900 range, which is essentially half your stack.

Therefore a push seems correct.
