Buying a chair - what to look for?
I want to buy a nice chair for poker. Leaning towards a nice leather one at the moment, but they vary dramatically in price and I have no idea what to look for. Something in this sort of price bracket would be ideal, but I am prepared to go higher.
Any help appreciated, Dean |

Augie00 has already had done this. Search for Sex Chair, and Augie00.

Re: Buying a chair - what to look for?
£70... what is that, about $120 US? In that price range, they're all pretty crappy. I've been playing the ~$100-$150 chair game for a while and I'm sick of them. I've decided to just cut the crap and go for something that's actually good, probably around $500-$700, something similar to an Aeron.

Re: Buying a chair - what to look for?
I use to sell office furniture. Basically anything under $150 is going to be average. As Patrick said, the more you spend the better one you can get, but you don't need to go as high as Patrick stated. Something around $250 to $350 will be pretty damn nice. Of course, there are $700+ chairs out there.

Re: Buying a chair - what to look for?
Nothing's more comfy than an easy chair pulled under a table. Seriously -- you can sit it up straight or recline at whatever degree your body needs it at the time. No fixed position chair can match that for comfort.
