Default B/R question

I have about a 3000$ bankroll. I am a pretty good 100NL hold'em player, but I seem to make more money at 2/4 stud. I don't feel ready to move to 3/6 yet, but for now I've been killing the 2/4.

what kind of BR do I need for 3/6 7 stud high?

$1800 is plenty for 3/6. Dont be afraid to take a shot at 3/6 and go back down to 2/4 and revamp if you feel outclassed, its the only way you will get better and you have plenty of BR for it.

screw 3/6....play 5-10.

you're killing 2/4 because people are way too loose for the ante structure. 5/10 has a similar ante structure.

At 3/6 being a little too loose isn't the worst thing in the world. So your don't make as much money off of these opponents.

$3k is a ridiculous bankroll for $3/6, and probably higher than necessary for $5/10. Personally, I would have no hesitation about playing in a good $20/40 game on that kind of BR, but I have a decent job and a certain amount of gamble in me.
