I was wondering who sells these shoes at the shoe stores, I haven't looked for a long time and don't want to waste any time.

You can get them pretty much anywhere. Converse was bought by Nike, so the price went up. But Foot Locker and other places like that generally have them. Though you'll generally only find a couple of colors, at most.
