Default Eye Damage/Fatigue???

I work as a programmer, which means generally staring at a computer for 6-10 hours/day at work. I also play poker online ~3 nights/week which is anonther 6-8 hours, meaning I can spend up to 65-70 hours per week looking at a computer screen. I've noticed that in the past couple months my contacts have been bothering me more and more. I've had trouble with this before, where they get kind of uncomfortable and cloudy, but I just throw them away and get new ones when this happens. Last week I tried this again (I have one month contacts and am good about only wearing them a month) but it didn't help. Now, I put my contacts in at around 8am and I can barely see by 4pm. I started taking them out when I get home from work which worked for a little while but now even when I wear my glasses at night my eyes sting and get cloudy. I've tried eye drops, no help. Anyone have any ideas? At first it was a bother but now I'm getting worried.

As redemption for posting this lame thread, here's some eye candy (eh, eh, eh... eye candy )

Go see an ophthalmologist. It could be something as simple as dry eyes, although since drops and taking your contacts out doesn't help much it might not be. You might have giant papillary conjunctivitis, contact lens overwear, poorly fitted contacts, who knows. Go see somebody.

i don't think an eye exam is too expensive, it's the lenses/frames/contacts that cost a lot.
