Default Top pair, small pot.

Villain is loose pf and relatively straightfwd over 40 hands. I think it would be more likely that he has a 2 or something better than top pair than he would be bluffing. I really dont think i can fold this.

Should be a straight forward fold against typical players.

Raise preflop. You're getting 3 to 1 effective odds once he raises the turn. Even though he is straightforward, I would call down as this is a heads up blind situation, and he might think you're weaker than you are. King crappy kicker might look like a monster to him as you didn't raise preflop.

I missed something. There also needs to be a preflop raise.

Yes, you can lay it down. FOLD it.

Villian can beat top Pair. That's what he's telling you. He just checkraised you on a big street.

Why don't you believe him?

Villian beats Top Pair. Checkraise on Turn tells me so. Call down nO gOOt.

Now, I might look him up if he does something like this shortly thereafter, just to check if he got some idea that I will always fold to a bluff. Or I might keep an eye on him and see if he pulls such a stunt on anyone else.

boo! very poor IMO. 40 hands is no read and he could think you're bluffing. who knows, but folding is foolish.
