Default Anyone here play heads up SNGS

If anyone does is there a lot of variance?
and are the opponents usually good average or bad.
I played a couple heads up SNGS at bodog today with the no rake there it seems like a decent way to may a profit, and the players werent that good.
Any suggestions?

No rake is nice.

I think HU SNG's are probably a pretty low risk, low reward experience (unless we're talking about Stars $5000 jobs). With no rake, you'd still need to win 60% of the time for a 20% ROI. I think winning 60% of the time would be really pounding the game, and obviously as you add in rake it gets to be harder. However, they can be a fun way to practice deeper stacked HU play for a little bit, if that's something you care about at all.

ive played around 350 210s and 520s on stars. they are VERY beatable. people are pretty awful, and i wouldnt be surprised if someone maintained 65% in either of them. the structure on stars is decent, and gives you a bit of time to work. there are a bunch of styles that work in them, so find yers and dont be afraid to mix it up.

also, wtf site has no rake? i dont wanna pay 20 bucks every time i play. adds up quick

holla

What kind of variance is there? Where's your standard deviation approximately? I want to start playing some but just wanted an idea of how much money to put on to Stars.

i don't think you should take into acct. your sign-up bonus when figuring the cost of a heads-up or tourney.

Bodog offers ridiculous rakeback on SNGs.
