Default Is this a standard call at the 11\'s?

This is standard on any level actually right?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (8 handed) converter

Button (t475)
SB (t1410)
Hero (t810)
UTG (t905)
UTG+1 (t990)
MP1 (t845)
MP2 (t1760)
CO (t805)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
button pushes hero calls

No. I would if I were the chip leader, by a lot. But if you lose, you'll only have T335 or something, 2xBB, this is bad. Your hand suX. Fold.

No, I don't think so, I'd probably only call if the button had 300 chips or less, but even then q2 is such garbage.

You can't really afford to call and lose this....and your stack is quite playable if you fold.

So it doesnt matter that I am getting close to 2:1 here or am I figuring that wrong somehow?

No, fold.

If you are getting 2:1 and it was less than or equal to 1/3rd of your stack to call than it is proper to call here.

I could be wrong but even with close to 2:1, I don't think q2 beats enough hands to make this a good call. The key is I wouldn't put the button on a random hand.

I dont think thats a standard at the 11's, I fold here. Not sure about the higher levels as im not there yet.
