I would like youre opinion on online poker have u played?

I have not played online poker. i have been an observer on Paradise. My opinion is just that an opinion not based on any facts that I have researched. I do not like the idea of online poker. I believe there are too many smart computer geeks out there that can "break the code" so to speak and find all kinds of ways to cheat. That may not be the case but I believe that it could happen with relative ease.


I have played a lot of online chess. I have found that the competitiveness with which I play with when playing live is diminished. I find myself making moves without thinking and almost mesmerized by the computer screen itself. I find that I just want to "get on to the next game" when playing. I could care less if I win a lot of time. Playing a game online definitely reduces my focus. I am more concerned with getting more and more games in than concentraing on what is going on and trying to take advantage of others mistakes. It becomes like a video poker machine at a casino. In short, I don't like the idea of online poker.
