WaterFree Urinal?

I took a piss at the Center House in the Seattle Center yesterday and they have these things which I've never seen before. I can't say I'm a fan and I hope they don't catch on. As you do they deed they fill up with piss as they slowly drain into the lower chamber, causing splash back and smelling bad. These were in a pretty low use area on a weekday evening and there was piss everywhere around them. I can imagine one being at my favorite bar where more piss would splash out than drain down. Anyone else use these or have an opinion?

They have them at some rest areas between Denver and Kansas City on I-70... They aiight.

They have one in the Pigott Building at Seattle U mixed in with the regular urinals. It worked well for me, I used that one if given the choice.
