Default AJo UTG tight table

I'm UTG.

to my left
21/8
24/7
15/7
35/11
11/4
41/1
39/5
13/11
19/6

Should I fold AJo here?

There's been some god awful post-flop play from the loose guys so far.

--Dave.

Edit: I have at least 30 hands on all players, and telling me to switch tables won't help me play the hand.

I might be an overly aggressive player, but isn't the fact that it's a tight table with poor post-flop play reasons we want to raise here?

Only the loose guys are horrible post flop... I haven't really noticed much from anyone else.

I'm not sure what my image has been so far at this table. I'm about break-even right now, and I don't think I've done anything weird just yet.

How do they react to an early raiser? I might raise just to find out if I don't know. Keep in mind they only have 30 hands on you as well. If they've been 3 betting and capping I'm inclined to fold this here and watch the table.

With the info given, I'm raising to see what happens. And expect 21/8 fold, 24/7 fold, 15/7 fold, 35/11 call, 11/4 fold, 41/1 call, 39/5 call, 13/11 fold, 19/6 fold.

By limping in I'm allowing to many weak drawing hands to take a peek and I might get raised behind me. If they're as god awful post flop as you say, raise here so they make their first mistake by coldcalling with hands they should dump for one bet.

If its a tight table, I believe that AJo UTG is an easy raise. The tight players are (most likely) going to fold or 3bet, so when they decide to play you can be justifiably cautious and can probably know your hand is a 'dog right off the bat.

More times than not, however, it will drive them out and sit you with the 41/1 and 39/5 guys, which is who you want to face postflop anyway.

First unclick the "auto post blind" box then raise.

I think this was one of Rolf Slotbloom's infamous "fold preflop" quizes.

I've never folded AJo UTG at a limit table.
