Call,push, or...\"MOVE bit$h, get out the way...get out the way..\"
This comes up from time to time. Me and Button both have been taking our cracks at BB (Button just doubled up BB a couple hands previous).
Let's assume our stacks are both equal (5800ish), while shorty is at, say 1700ish . What kind of hand would you NOT get out of the way of Button's move on shorty? If and when you DID have a worthy hand, do you push back or go to the flop looking to avoid a disaster? ---- similar hand below (shorty not quite so short anymore) ---- PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (3 handed) converter Button (t4620) Hero (t5980) BB (t2900) Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Button raises to t1600, Hero calls t1400, 1 fold. Push preflop. It's not close.
