Default NL highstakes hand

I was very confused after I had played this hand. What would you do after the big check raise?
I couldn't get the converter to work, for some odd reason. So I have change the other player names.

um.. fold preflop?

I'm at a loss for an explanation here. I have no idea what to put everyone on. As for what to do after the c/r.. I think you can call, see what everyone else does. You're putting 2500 more in for a pot that's about 8K if I counted correctly. That can't be too wrong. Just call and see what happens. If someone else calls or pushes, hope you're not up against AA and 76c or something.. other than that, you should have plenty of equity to play.

I assume it is bob who folds pf and not James. What did Peter do after the flopraise? I take it he folded?

I am confused too... not by the big raise, isn't it actually pretty small? I am confused that he left nice odds to a flushdraw in a 4-way pot where 3 players put money in. Looks like it can't be set or 2 pair but probably an A. Noone seems really strong and he could be trying to find out where he is at. If you think you can push him off, an all-in might be right, you could even have best hand here, but you need to know the player. But why not just call? The pot is over 8000 and you need to call under 2000 with a draw to the nutflush. Furthermore you have position on him the next two rounds.

Then there is the player behind you. There will be a 10000 pot for him if you call. Will he push on that one? If so, you need to call.

Well... I could be way off, I don't play that high and normally 10 handed.

Hi pokergirl1 and welcome to this forum. We have played against each other couple of times in ladbrokes 10 20 and 15 30. And I really respect your game(that's why I wont tell my nick )

About the hand, that's a pretty akward situation. I was first thinking that you must push at least if "peter" calls since the pot is getting pretty big and as everybody knows you should try to win the big pots immidietly.. maybe more fixed limit thing tho.
But then I thought that you only called the orginal bet on flop, so if you push now it screams a big drawing hand -- unless you sometimes slow play in spot like this?

So after all I think I would go with a call in this spot and see what turn brings, since there is still two big stacks involved in hand besides you.

Just FYI:

This is most likely NOT the real pokergirl - someone else posted the exact same hand on a danish poker forum earlier today, but with all figures a tenth of the ones in this hand

But the hand is interesting none the less
