Level 4 question
Is this a clear push? I hope not because I folded.
I am trying to adjust my play because I use to play like a maniac on level 4 with this many people and im convinced it was my biggest leak. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (6 handed) converter BB (t1050) Hero (t920) MP (t910) CO (t465) Button (t1535) SB (t3120) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. |

Re: Level 4 question
You have 99. No sane person should ever fold 99 when it's folded to him/her. Push it.

Re: Level 4 question
With 5 players behind, its a little bit above a marginal push, but not a clear push.
Its halfway in between. Sorry if I was unclear. |

Re: Level 4 question
With the new blind level (75,150), I don't know if it would be wrong to call and try to win it post flop. You will have plenty of hands to play.
I wish you would post the buyin amount and how far you are away from the level change. |

Re: Level 4 question
I don't think pushing is correct. If you push and everyone folds you win 150 chips. If you push and someone calls, you are probably, on average just over 50% to win. It probably has a slightly positive EV, but I don't know that it is enough for the 1 in 7 times (guesstimate) you lose out by pushing.
