Default WSOP F-Bomb Rule

Does anyone know if the no F-Bomb rule at the WSOP has actually been enforced?

I have heard that it has been enforced this year. I think the player has to sit out 10 minutes. They had this rule at the wsop circuit too.

Yea, I heard they enforced this rule in a tourney last week. The penalty is sitting out for ten minutes. I think this rule is absolutely ridiculous.

Is there a "Seven Words You Can't Say at the WSoP" list somewhere? All i could find is Rule 38, which says:

[ QUOTE ]
"Penalties WILL be invoked in cases of abuse, disruptive behavior, or similar incidents. All penalties will be issued in Harrah’s sole discretion."

[/ QUOTE ]
So i'm guessing this is a "I know it when i hear it" kind of deal?

I'm curious to know how creative i need to be in my profanity.

Maybe. I really don't have any sympathy for someone with such a lack of self-control that they can't avoid being penalized though.

I was told that they were enforcing it at the satellites as well as the tourneys and that one guy was blinded out of his sat during his 10 minute time out. But it could have been just an urban legend going around the satellite tables.

Agree with you.. I don't feel bad for a guy who gets slapped with that penalty.

My main problem with the rule is that I won't be sure when to try to call someone on it.
Otherwise, I have no problem with the rule itself.

some dealer may let a guy 'get away with it' and I'll have to decide if I want to try to get him out for 10 minutes.
If a guy does that then he's probably tilting a little and I might want to keep him at the table.
But I'm guessing that if I try to get it enforced on him then when he returns he will be tilting even worse.

In most situations, I think I will be happily notifying the floor ANY time someone drops an f-bomb.
Since I've never been to the WSOP before this is all subject to change based on my impression of the situation.

There was a post here a week or two ago about Hellmouth getting busted with the rule and having to sit out. I'm too lazy to search for it though.

Prior to Event #2 a couple of weeks ago, they announced before the start of play that the "F-Bomb" was not allowed to be uttered. They mentioned that word specifically, but did not elaborate whether other vulgarities were allowed. Two points on this . . .
Phil Hellmuth wasn't there at the start of play, so he once again may have been unaware of the rule.
Secondly - I don't think I violated the rule until I was knocked out, thus making any "penalty" meaningless. (btw - I believe I said it more under my breath than anything, so I am quite sure I didn't disturb anyone else with my disgust)
