If you're planning to make this continuation all-in on any low flop like this, why not just push preflop? I think making this play gives any ragged hand implied odds to call your pfr, so maybe it isn't the best move.

I tend to call with AK in this situation, if someone raises me i push. I i miss the flop and get bet into i can get away with small losses.

I donīt think the raise pf is all that bad, however the continuation bet on the flop is too risky. You donīt want to lose all your money on a drawing hand this early on a flop you missed.
Considering your stacksize and your position I would probably just call, and then push if I hit the flop, or simply push preflop.

I think I would rather just push this pf than raise almost a 3rd of my chips

Raise to 125 preflop, no reason to commit yourself. If you're going to bet this hard on the flop, don't push it! Bet like 400-500, enough to 100% commit yourself. By pushing it immediatly it screems of overcards having missed this flop, i'm calling here with any overpair instantly.

I like this line the best out of the responses so far. I would take a similar approach.

This is that awkward situation where you have around 13-14X BB. It's very hard to play a flop with that.

I think it was a mistake to bet 175. You're making the pot too big to effectively play the flop with the chips that you have. I would either bet 125, or go all-in. My standard play in this situation is to go all-in. I'm satisfied with the 75 chips, and with the times that I get called.

Now, if you bet 125, and you get two callers, and the flop misses you, then you are in a very difficult position. My standard play with AK and more than 1 caller is to check/fold on the flop if the flop misses me. With 1 caller, I would push and take my chances.
