Forgive me if this is posted up somewhere, but just wondering if there is indeed a 2+2 IRC server and if so what is the address?
Sorry again. |

Re: 2+2 IRC Server
IRC == internet relay chat.
Essentially, there are servers that connect to eachother to form chat networks. You download one of a hundred different IRC clients and join one of these servers (say, for example, us.undernet.org). From there, you join a channel, or as many channels as you feel like. A channel is nothing more than a glorified chat room (for all intents and purposes). In this case, the channel would be #twoplustwo. The real power of IRC lies in the fact that it's got a [censored]-load of features, and generally the people on it are considered slightly more tech savvy than your average netizen. The other thing is, IRC is used as the basis for a lot of web-based chat stuff since it's really low level. Odds are, you've used IRC at one time or another and don't even know it. |

Re: 2+2 IRC Server
Is there some way to automatically connect to twoplustwo or do I have to connect through the server and type out /join twoplustwo?

Re: 2+2 IRC Server
Assuming you're using mIRC there should be an option somewhere up top for "auto-join" channels.
