AKs
Playing in a on-line multi-table torny it is late in the game and I have a 7,000 stack. 2nd largest at the table only to the BB who has a 9,000. Though a torny hand my question relates to the NL nature of this hand so I posted it here.
Blinds are 400/200 with a $25 ante (9 player table). I am dealt A [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] on the button folded to me and I make it 2,000 to go. SB drops, BB hesitates for 50 seconds and reraises all in. I called - flip'em up 6 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] for the big blind. I had just moved to the table and had never played against this person before. I thought to myself what set of stones do you have to have to make that move? As per the hand the flop comes 63Q, turn 3 evening over. I ran the hand on twodimes and was interested to learn that I am only a 1.78x favorite in this hand. I had thought that it would be much larger given all the possible boards without a 3 or a 6. How was my opening bet? Did I overbet (5x the BB/2.5x the pot) and invite this play or was it just a maniac that got lucky? Thanks |
