Heads up KQs 20+2

Heads up, my opponent has a little over $7,000 in chips, and I have slightly less then $7,000. Blinds are 200-400, I am SB. I have KQ of diamonds and make it $1000. He calls.

Flop comes 6s 5d 8d.

My opponent leads for $1,500. What should my action be?
