As the leopard was dying, a neighbor heard the screams and arrived to finish it off with a machete.

I'm trying to figure out a way to work "cat got your tongue?" into some sort of joke here, but I'm not seeing it. Anyone?

the leopard was wasted, any machete work was totally unnecessary.

If he had to finish anything off then it wasn't wasted. And what in the hell does ripping out its tongue do? Just cause lots of bleeding and make it panic?

Jeez, that is one of the freakiest things I've ever heard of in my life.

I'm amazed the guy could do it, especially without just getting his hand bitten off instantly.

I just started a book by Jim Corbett about a leopard that killed and ate hundreds of people. This guy getting really pulled off an amazing feat.
