I had a breakeven stretch of 350 tournaments, everything felt like it was just going crap, people talked about how bad people play at the 11$, yet everytime i hit TPTK someone had twopair or trips etc. Yesterday i made 250$ and i finally feel like things are looking up again but they could turn down just as quickly again.

Variance SUX, deal with it or quit

I'm also on a HUGE downswing. Less then 5 mins ago I had a game going & made it to the bubble. I push with AJs and was called with JT and sure enough a 10 flops. 9 out of 10 times I bust out I had the better preflop hand. $500BR is now $185. I've looked at all the histories and it all indicates that the vast majority of the time my allin is called I lose regardless of my hands advantage.
Its so bad that if I have QQ-KK, I'd be willing to wager that I'll lose the hand somehow.

What do you do when you push with the better hand and lose 80% of the time? You shrug off a bad beat as nothing, but when they happen every tourny what can you do?

Same thing here. I stop playing so I don't either lose aggression or overcompensate by pushing too hard. The more frequent the dry streaks or down streaks lately, the more likely I am to let subsequent bad runs affect my play.

a10 losing to j10 certainly sux but it happens. I notice this happening to me and i get upset, but then i think to myself, was that opponent correct to call? Did my small stack push of 2 bb's make it look like i was desperate? What should/could i have done to make it so i would have a larger chips stack so i wouldnt be in such a desparate situation or in a situation where i have no fold equity? I find that typically the end result of losing (or winning) is not because of one "bad beat" but several hands throughout that sng.

I've gone all in 2 consecutive times and have taken down the blinds (5 handed). I'm now dealt a7off suit utg. Do i fold (position and the fact i pushed 2 consecutive hands already) or push? if i fold and it is folded to the bb i am kicking myself. When i push and the BB comes alive with ak and calls, i'm kicking myself. When the bb calls with jq and wins, well i'm still pretty mad. But this is just one scenario where your decision could drastically alter your finish. Your last hand is often the result of your prior actions.

When im running good my aj always holds up to 10j and i dont think twice about becuz, aj is suppose to hold up. When im running poorly and my aj loses, i forget about all the times it help up.

Sometimes I keep a score sheet of bad beats taken/bad beats given. It serves no purpose statistically, but sometimes it makes me feel better believe it or not. Two nites ago i was losing 2-7 over my first 19 tourneys, and i was just breaking even. Right or wrong, it made me feel good that i lost to 7 3 outters and was still breaking even. (to count as a bad beat i make it so there are 3 outs or less)
