How to extract maximum value after rivering quads?
I put both villains on an ace. I think pushing the river would result in both calling more often than not. Was it stupid just to raise?

Re: How to extract maximum value after rivering quads?
considering the very limited action until your raise, I wouldnt be surprised if one of them had a seven (especially the caller).. that said, if one of them has an ace I dont think he could fold to your push, so it wouldnt hurt to try
edit: I just realized how short the cutoff is... he is not folding here A or prolly even 7, so why not push.. even if the other player folds, you take out the shortstack and you get great FE when the blinds get bigger |

Re: How to extract maximum value after rivering quads?
I think you have to bet the turn. FLush draw is out - you don't want to give a free card and an ace fell so that probably hit one of them. Lead out with 1/2 pot on the turn would be my move.
Then lead out on the river. |

That's a very good idea. Represent the ace, bet 1/2 pot.
I definitely like it a lot. I think check-raising the turn might also be a good idea. |

Eh... With two opponents, I like 2/3 to 3/4 pot.
