Default Finding an artist

I've benn soending alot of my free time lately on writing a book similar in nature to The Lord Of The Rings crossed with The Winds Of War. Having created the characters in my head I am really intigued by the idea of instead doing more of a graphic novel. one problem I suck at drawing, and suck bad. Anyone have some ideas on how/where I could locate and get in contact with artists who would have a similar interest?

Also is it possible to become adept and drawing as and adult?

thanks

I'm an artist by practice. If you're seriously thinking about doing this, how much are you offering?

Nothing like that. I meant I was wanting a idea of where I could find people interesting in working together in a non paid way on this. Basically someone who has a similar interest and would like to go in together. ie i'm not hiring. Worst case I just stick with the book format
