why we choose to play SNGs?

I was looking to try to make some money at clearing other bonus's through SNG. Doing some research and seeing how big the bonus's are for certain sites and how hard they are for other sites does it really seem worth while? For me at a low SNG level, and the interest of money, i coudlnt really figure out why i play poker anymore online. Is it to make money off all the other fish, or is it to get better? So i guess thats the question. I know we are all here to learn to become better players and make money, but most of the interest in playing SNG just our hourly rate?

I came across this idea looking at other reviews of other sites and how soft some are compared to others and like how better the play is. Im not even sure if this would apply to me playing at such a low income.
