Should I have raised? #3
I've been getting way timid lately due to some very lackluster ROI recently, and maybe I'm overcompensating. Counting my outs, you tell me. I also figured there was a chance I would steal the pot outright, but I figured I had a timid bettor just making a continuation bet on the turn automatically, and that I had what was probably the best flush draw and best straight draw, and an overcard -- somehow I didn't trust the ace, because, an ace would have raised preflop or bet the flop bigger. For me, betting on a draw is incredibly rare, so this was an extraordinary hand for me.
Anyway, enough explanation -- here comes the craziness. Re: Should I have raised? #3
The blinds/pot are way too high for you to be waiting until the turn to bluff. Aside from pushing PF, push the flop if you're desperate for the chips.

Re: Should I have raised? #3
So my 1) probably best flush draw, 2) straight draw, and 3) chance of making someone fold his hand outright were that far off base?
This is a very rare move for me, especially heads up. But my desire to put more aggression in my game is making me experiment around and go a little wild I guess. I was just wondering if this was totally nuts. |
