Glory Seeker is at seat 1 with 1440.
eclip is at seat 2 with 1075.
FooledHouse is at seat 6 with 3975.
Foxero is at seat 7 with 7040.
sodrod86 is at seat 9 with 1470.
The button is at seat 1.

eclip posts the small blind of 100.
FooledHouse posts the big blind of 200.

Glory Seeker: 5c 7c
eclip: -- --
FooledHouse: -- --
Foxero: -- --
sodrod86: -- --

Pre-flop:
Foxero folds. sodrod86 folds. Glory Seeker goes all-in for 1440.

Blinds are pretty tight and won't call me without a pair/A8+/any 2 broadway.

What's your move? Do you fold and wait for a better spot/hand? At what point does it become correct to move in with this type of hand?

Ok. Thanks guys, I've been just having a rough night where all my steal-pushes have run into monsters when it's correct to push against tight players.

BB had AA .

If he had AA, your hand was actually better than KQ for this HU match.

Yes so very well done running into AA with 75s instead of KQo.

It's even better that KQs, I believe. Dunno, it might even be better than AKs.

Edit: I'm a moron. Of course it's better than AKs and it's better than any pair other than AA

Does it matter? The problem with 75s is it's only good for steal-raise because it loses to every hand that might call you (except for 22/33 where you're 52/48)

If you get called by 88 vs AA you're a 4 to 1 dog.
Your best chance is getting called by A8/JT/KQ/AK (40/60 situations, which I am more to happy to take against a decent size stack who will double me up and bring my stack to his level if he loses and bring me in a good spot to make the money)

And on the rare cases i get called by A5 or A7, I'm a 2-1 dog.

you do not beat 44/55/66. I don't know why you think it beats 55/66
